Re: Ironman winch
Thanks for the tips, I was aware of the spooling out. This winch has a manual release for the over-run brake for spooling out cable but with the steel it is a real pain as it tends to "spring" loose turns around the drum so basically you have to let it all out and then wind it back in taking care to ...

Who needs a logging truck?
Ute.jpgJust having a bit of fun on my way home from a job and sorting some of next year's firewood on the way! Loaded up so 50mm of suspension travel left but would have liked a few more logs! Steering was super power on the way home!

Also check your glow plugs. If you have one or two out it will make it hard to start.

Re: Dmax warning tone
Thanks for the replies. Geeves, my driving is around our block, not in town. Yes, unplugging wire could interfere with airbags and also trigger a fault warning, checked that option out already. Izuzurob's suggestion sounds best so far but will need 2 as it also triggers for the passenger! Just wish ...

Dmax warning tone
Hi, does anyone know if there is a hack to disable the seatbelt warning tone in a 2015 Dmax? I live rurally and don't always want to put the belt on when doing multiple small trips around the block and the beeper doing its nut drives me crazy!
