Overheating Wizard

Post by Johnfrancis »

Isuzu Wizard Mu 1998. Just wondering if a typical cause for this fault.Noticed by chance some water had been ejected in a carpark. Plan to check radiator cap tomorrow. No obvious broken hoses but water in reservoir tank looks pretty dirty (rust coloured).

If the radiator is full it may just be the header tank was overfilled but if the level is not right to the top in the radiator then this indicates a coolant leak of bad head gasket. Rusty water indicates either a lack of maintenance or it has boiled which could be due to a bad radiator bad water pump or blown head
