A local engineer can make them (his main trade is building 4wd rally trucks) but the trick is getting them past the mechanic at roadworthy time. Still not much less than the Indy ones. If I go that way we might have to stamp Isuzu and the part no on the knuckle

I will be interested if you think you will have as much ramp over with the gearbox mounting change to chassis as your original Jack.

I have not started my convert yet but have decided to re shell my UBS69 chassis rather than replace the 4JX1 motor because I like the more forward gearbox mount of the UBS69.

Yeah, im interested to see how it goes too. It was one of the downsides to the whole deal. BUT, mines 3" lifted on 33's, and clearance hasnt been much of an issue. Also, running the exhaust along the right side then across behind the transfer case rather than under the front of the gearbox, which should help a bit too. I'll be making a full set of bash plates too

Nah, the older 4spd auto from 2011

Quick update

Now, this may just look like some kick panels and a knee panel, but, what it means is that the wiring is finished tidied and locked away.

So, made a bit more progress this evening. Dash is now done. Still have to install all the auxillary stuff like power outlets, switchgear and hook up uhf's and so on, but its all progressing well.

Oh, it runs, i did take a video a few weeks back, but, had a small issue of the fan and shroud making it sound like an old 3.1
