Blown bulb, bad earth, disturbed a connector?
So the other side works normally?

OK when hazards are on all lights work , still no left side indicators , where to start ? under dashboard maybe ?
pretty sure I haven't messed with any plugs anywhere might just spray some contact cleaner in some random plugs tomorrow and see what happens .

All lights work on hazard. That excludes the bulbs fuses and flasher. Im putting my 1/5 of a 10 cent coin firmly on the indicator switch or its plug

OK but I can hear the flasher flashing real fast when on left indicator as if all bulbs blown . must be a plug that goes to the left side only ?

Ok I will get my hacksaw onto that coin. Where shall I send a piza shaped piece of 10c?
It is possibly an earthing fault on one of the bulbs. Try hazards again and look for a weak bulb

ok solved it , here's how for others ,
I pulled apart the indicator switch on the steering column , then with a bit of scotch bright and 1200 grit wet and dry polished all the copper contacts which were all black
I did this with it still plugged in which was a bit hard but managed in the end , the hardest part was finding the little spring and ball bearing that flew out of the dip switch mechanism , so watch for that and the little spring which also puts tension on the dip switch , now it works perfect,
it was giving it a signal but too weak for it to operate properly . thanks for the help .
