The multimeter tells me 14.33V at the battery with engine running at fast idle. Any ideas on where I should look next?

A couple of days ago I started the engine in our 1990 2.6 FI jackaroo and these lights stayed on after starting. I turned the engine off, and then restarted. All OK.

Today the lights are on again, and wont go off.


Your suggestions will be appreciated.

Problem solved. I had dropped the earth connection plate when I removed the device that clips the plug leads in place.
