TPS Throttle Position Sensor

Post by toysrbest »

Getting a new replacement TPS Throttle Position Sensor seems hard to find. I have come across a parts supplier out of Japan that can order these special made. I have now ordered a new one, but it is a bit of a long wait. Hoping to have my new TPS by the end of September 2016. I have ordered parts from these people in the past and they are always good to deal with. They are a trust worthy outfit! I will do a followup post when my TPS arrives later in the year. The following is the relevant information.

My vehicle is a 1994 Isuzu Bighorn 3.1 TD 4jg2

Parts supplier in Japan
jp-carparts.com

New throttle position sensor (Potentiometer), Isuzu Bighorn 3.1 TD automatic
Part number 8-97065709-1. NI00115

Hope this helps others

Received the new TPS August 25th 2016, so it took about 10 weeks. Not too bad at all. Finally got it installed this past week (November 18th 2016) and it works like a charm! Transmission shifts like brand new. Worth every penny to have it working properly again.

Gotta love it! :D
