Hi All

A few new bits to play with.
Had a new inline pump built, capable of around 220cc
New injectors too, +100 over factory
Should be able to put the compounds to work with this setup

Just fitting up pump and timing pulley on spare engine to test fit and adjust adaptor.

220 CCs !! Jeebus!! My 12 mm will do 160, so that's crazy!! Look forward to seeing results !

On bigger injectors Paul, Maybe you might help shed some light on something thats been intriguing me for a while,, Earlier this year, my fuel tech and I did a back to back test on the smallest nozzles we could find, versus the biggest nozzles we could find, (factory 4JG1) vs (biggest factory 4JB1) put up against my 160cc pump, same injector bodies, same test bench, same lines , same everything, and they BOTH flowed exactly the same amount of fuel,,, (you read that right, a tiny 5 x 0.21mm nozzle will happily flow 160CCs) on paper the 4jb1 nozzles were considerably larger, but flowed exactly the same...
so the question is, if you don't care about the extra stress on the injection pump,, why would you use bigger nozzles?

Perhaps something else coming into play there. I know for a fact going from standard 4hole JB1 nozzle to a +50 4 hole JB1 nozzle on my 12mm made a significant improvement. A lot of people that have done mechanical pump swaps on their 4JH1’s also see improvements going to the larger +50s the factory JH1 nozzles have always limited the output of the mech pumps.
On the test rig the +50s limited my inline pump to around 200cc going to the +100s got the full 225cc out of it.
